NFL continues attempt to clean up image

Vikings fullback Tony Richardson is on the six-member player advisory council that gave its approval to a new NFL rule that will prohibit clubs from serving alcohol at team functions or on buses or flights. Alcohol already had been banned from locker rooms. The rules also will be enforced for owners, coaches and guests. It’s commissioner Roger Goodell’s latest attempt to clean things up.
