The Vikings announced a new deal today and no it has nothing to do with a veteran quarterback.
The franchise has agreed to a 10-year contract with Indianapolis-based MainGate Inc. to serve as its exclusive retail and merchanding company. The partnership formally began on June 27 and will mean MainGate will operate all three Vikings Locker Room mall stores, as well as merchandise locations throughout the Metrodome and at the team’s training camp in Mankato. MainGate also will operate all of the Vikings online merchandise sales.
MainGate has partnerships with numerous sports leagues and teams, including the Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts.
well, I can see why they want to take on more work if the lions are one of their clients. They probably sold what, 3 jerseys and a couple hats last year?
So maingate is getting in the door before all the #4 Brat Fav-ra jerseys officially go on sale. Smart business move.
Since we are in such a news lull I thought I’d break this story:
Ray Edwards is still NOT the All Time NFL sack leader.
I wonder if Ray Edwards is aware of that. Someone should tell him.

And now I hear Michael Jackson died? Who did he play for, the Raiders?
Now Mike Golic says the Favre move is a good one. That helps a lot since he is right about things in the area of 50% of the time. He also said that Jay Cutler makes the Bears one of the most improved teams in the NFL.
Okay, thanks for filling in time today, Mike.

B G ~ No Michael Jackson didn’t play for the Raiders…He was known for his play with little boys…But when you mention the Raiders ?? He did look like something that crawled out of the Oakland “black hole” wearing sun glasses…From bleaching his skin in past years…
Sorry ~ I just didn’t have any respect for the guy…
