Briggs would “love” to face Favre

Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said in an interview with NFL Network’s Solomon Wilcots that he hopes quarterback Brett Favre comes out of retirement to play for the Vikings this season.

Briggs said Bears defensive players know Favre is “going to throw us a few [interceptions].” Briggs, however, also told Wilcots that he still believes the Vikings are the team to beat in the NFC North because they are the defending champions.
