UPDATE:
It looks like Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier could be a finalist for two head coaching jobs. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported today that Frazier is a finalist for the Rams job and will interview with the team’s ownership Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Frazier did not have a preliminary interview with the team but is already on the list of finalists. Here is the Post-Dispatch’s story.
Frazier is also reportedly a finalist for the Denver Broncos job.
Here is an update on the Broncos coaching search from the Rocky Mountain News.
Frazier also interviewed with the Detroit Lions on Friday.
Vikings 27- Giants 24 Oh wait….
Any one know how the gophers did last night in hockey????

[…] 4:22 pm: The Minnesota Star-Tribune is reporting that it’s looking more and more likely that Denver will focus on Frazier and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to fill their vacancy at head coach. Both candidates are expected to be asked back for a second round of interviews this week. […]

Good try #1Vike!
Here, check this out! Short highlight video of the first Sixteen Games. Good for a few goosebumps:
All you haters need to SHUT THE HECK UP! T-Jack was lights out against the Cards and Giants and now everyone has forgotten. The Vikings DON’T NEED ANOTHER QUARTERBACK. Get rid of that troublemaker Ferotte too. What a baby talking crap about T-Jack. Mark my words T-JACK WILL MAKE THE PROBOWL NEXT YEAR. Anybody who doesn’t back T-Jack is not a Viking fan.
TJack plays like a rookie.
The Vikings lost to the Eagles because McNabb completely outplayed Jackson in the second half. 15 out of 35 is not going to get it done.
TJack may eventually develop into a decent QB but he is not there yet and the Vikings team can’t afford to wait and hope it happens next year.
The Vikings are going to sign a proven veteran QB to be the starter next year.
I’m just going to assume that was a joke about Jackson…
Either that was a joke or Brad Childress is posting.
Good luck to Frazier. If he gets hired in Detroit he will be crowned King of the city when they get their first win.
panthers are gettin hammered. never woulda thought this would happen…..
Always “fun” to listen to Goose and Moose call a game (not!). Why don’t they call Kenny Albert Duece then they’ll have a comlete set of nicknames.
Note to Vikings; Do not try to acquire Delhomme. Don’t the Panthers have any other QB’s or did they leave him out there because it was his birthday as “Moose” told us 5,000 times.
Mr. Childress,
To learn about calling an unpredictable offensive game and keeping the defense on their heels throughout a game, watch the tape of the Cardinals Vs. Panthers game today.
Sincerely,
Viking fans
What do you think about Derek Anderson in purple next year? He made the Pro Bowl last year and he’s a young big QB.
Scott Linehan for OC
Anderson got a huge contract this year and stunk up the place.
Anderson didn’t stink. his receivers dropped the passes. Look into it, it’s true.

I was listening to Mike and Mike on Monday and Greeny was saying that after watching the Vikes/Philly game, if the two QB’s had switched teams that the Vikes would have won by 3-4 td’s. He said it was obvious that we were the better team overall talent-wise but were held back by our QB. It makes me sick to see AZ in the NFC Championship game. Not that I hate the Cards, it’s just that if we had ANY kind of QB–we should have been there. With our talent and the mediocre teams in the NFC–THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN OUR WINDOW. Hopefully, it stays open for a few years.
With McNabb, Hasselback, Garcia or Warner (I don’t want Favre this time around)..we go far next year.
Off topic, here’s next years opponents:
Home: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, San Francisco, Seattle, N.Y. Giants, Baltimore, Cincinnati
Away: Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Arizona, St. Louis, Carolina, Cleveland, Pittsburgh
How did the gopher hockey team do last night????
I heard there was a broom in Grand Forks????
Just wondering
Go Cards
The asking price for Hasselbeck in a trade will almost certainly be very high, but if it weren’t it would be well worth it. McNabb would probably be next highest. The problem with Warner and Garcia is that they are old and if for some reason they don’t perform next year we would be at the same place a year from now. I’m guessing Derek Anderson’s trade value will be much lower than Hasselbeck’s or McNabb’s, so he might be worth looking into, but he’s not worth more than a first rounder, in my opinion.
Because of the talent around the QB the Vikings are a great place for a QB to succeed, which should be obvious if you note that even Jackson and Frerotte looked good at times.
7 days later and I’m still LOL at you all. And next year you will all be talking sh!t about how great your draft picks are and all the free agents you will overpay for. And you still won’t do sh!t in the playoffs. LOL LMAO LOL!
MB–You sure *LOL* a lot. I think that there has to be a psychological study about people who laugh continually….ALONE. I’m guess that study would end with a straight jacket and rubber room. Just sayin.
