Henderson unable to practice

October 2nd, 2008 – 4:28 PM by Judd Zulgad

Middle linebacker E.J. Henderson did not take part in the Vikings practice today and it appears extremely unlikely he be able to play Monday night against the Saints. Tight end Jim Kleinsasser also was held out of practice because of a foot injury.

Among those limited in today’s session were safety Madieu Williams (neck); wide receiver Sidney Rice (knee); defensive end Ray Edwards (shoulder); linebacker Vinny Ciurciu (knee); cornerback Benny Sapp (hamstring); and offensive lineman Drew Radovich (shoulder). Sapp and Radovich are the latest editions to the injury report.

The Saints already have declared four players out for Monday. That list includes wide receivers Marques Colston (thumb) and David Patten (groin); cornerback Aaron Glenn (ankle); and tight end Jeremy Shockey (hernia).

Safety Chris Reis (hamstring) did not participate for the Saints. Among those limited for the Saints were tight end Mark Campbell (hamstring); wide receiver Terrance Copper (hamstring); linebacker Troy Evans (ankle); cornerback Randall Gay (hamstring); center Jonathan Goodwin (hamstring); running back Mike Karney (ankle); and running back Aaron Stecker (hamstring).

Thanks Judd.

So, Kleinsasser goes from a “leg issue” to a foot injury. Good work from the medical staff on tracking down the exact location of that leg issue. And remember, Madieu’s return is “just a matter of time.”

Could you guys get a coaching report from Zygi for us? Thanks!

sounds like the head trainer, this Sugarman guy, is as bright as Chili… it only took him from sunday to thursday to pinpoint Kleinsassers injury … just a sign the whole staff we have here is INCOMPETENT

I can’t believe the questions that KFAN let a couple of callers ask Childress. Did anybody hear that? It was pretty funny. I bet a call screener gets fired

“Sapp and Radovich are the latest editions to the injury report.” Editions? Or is it additions?

Did anyone ask him if he knew his mustache makes him look like even more of an idiot than he is? Is that possible, by the way?

benson daddy are you just gonna tease us or are you gonna let us know what was asked…and did Chili answer the question or did they hang up on the guy and move on ….like Sid does

The first guy was pretty long winded asking about Chillies input on personnel moves and why they went into the year with a rookie and an old man backing up their completely unproven starter. He also was asking what type of record do they expect now that they have blown 3 of the 1st 4 games. The tone the guy used was the best part. Total contempt for Childress. The 2nd guy was ridiculing the playcalling and asking why it was so predictable that the fans sitting down to watch the game can tell which play is going to be run. My son was in the backseat talking about some big truck so that might not be word-for-word what was said but the uncomfortable tone that Childress used to answer them was priceless. I do give him credit for actually answering them though. I couldn’t believe it

As for the answers, of course it was all cliches. Talk about how Freotte is a quality QB and trying to put guys in situations to succeed.

was there a lot of stuttering and stammering … and a lot of ah umm , ah umm ??

bensonsdaddy says:

Of course there was. You do know I was talking about BRAD Childress, right?

Did you guys see the contract Lee Evans got? Berrian doesn’t look quite so overpaid now
