Tailgating is back

August 1st, 2008 – 1:38 PM by Judd Zulgad

MANKATO — The Vikings have reached an agreement with the Star Tribune that again will allow fans to tailgate in three lots near the Metrodome. Prices range from $300 to $360 per space for the entire regular season. If you’re interested check out the Vikings website.

Meanwhile, we’re back in Mankato for the Vikings practice today, which is scheduled to run from 3 to 5 p.m. The team will then have two practices Saturday, the first running from 9 to 11 a.m. and the second from 7 to 9 p.m.

We’ll be checking on the status of cornerback Marcus McCauley and receiver Bernard Berrian. McCauley injured his knee in the Vikings’ joint practice with Kansas City on Thursday night. Berrian was left back to undergo treatment for a yet-to-be specified injury.
