Nose tackle Pat Williams (knee, elbow) returned to practice Friday after sitting out the previous two days. It appears certain Williams will play in Sunday’s regular-season finale at Denver.

Linebacker Vinny Ciurciu (sprained ankle) was not taking part in practice for a third consecutive day and it’s unlikely he will be on the field Sunday. Ciurciu’s loss will hurt the Vikings on special teams.

The Vikings will issue an injury report later today that will give the expected status of their injured players.
