One of you loyal folks pointed this out on the previous post but it’s probably worth getting as a main entry. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported there is speculation that Brett Favre would like to see the Packers acquire Randy Moss from Oakland. Now that would make things interesting.
This rumor/speculation/whatever was a small part of a story in today’s Milwaukee paper in which Packers coach Mike McCarthy discussed Favre’s future. Sure seems like a repeat of last year’s “will he or won’t he retire,” story involving Favre. Here it is.

Watching one of the many NFL-related segments on ESPN yesterday one of the network’s draft experts, Todd McShay, was speculating that Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn could fall to the Vikings at No. 7 in the first round of the draft this April. Although it seems like a long shot that Quinn will be around at that point, if he is what do you folks think the Vikings should do?

The Denver Post reports that Atlanta receiver Ashley Lelie has voided his contract with the Falcons and will become an unrestricted free agent. The Florida Times-Union reports that former Vikings coach Mike Tice will coach the Jaguars’ tight ends in 2007. Tice had the title of assistant head coach/offense with Jacksonville this past season. Alfredo Roberts coached the Jags’ tight ends for the past four seasons but left this week to join the Cleveland Browns staff.
